Halloween casts a long shadow over the happenings for this week. Nevertheless, a lot came up in the days leading up to our big bash. Specifically, Jog-A-Thon- winners were announced Monday. We were thrilled to learn Kacey had raised the most money. Not just within our class. Most money for the entire school!!! With her help Mr. Bing's class took home the award for most money raised by a single class. Not to be out-shined, Kieran nabbed the award for most laps. Great job everyone!
We're continuing to improve on our ability to regulate and reflect on our emotions. Throughout Tuesday students graphed their emotions and saw how their moods changed. Using this information we discussed strategies for coping with the everyday highs and lows.
Of course, we have to talk about Halloween at some point. The photos speak for themselves. A big thank you to all the parents who helped put all this together. Even more so, I appreciate the flexibility.
